Jori Kola is an accomplished coach with a strong background in both short track and long track speed skating. He was previously Head Coach for Wisconsin Speed Skating Club, and also contributed as an Assistant Coach for both Pinnacle Speedskating and the Let's Skate Foundation. On the national stage, Jori has supported the development of emerging athletes as an Assistant Coach for the US Speedskating Junior World Cup team. A USS Level 2 Coach and Skate IA Certified Instructor, Jori brings a wealth of knowledge and on-ice experience to every training session. He was a competitor in the 2022 and 2026 Long Track Olympic Trials as well as a 3-time Short Track Age Group National Champion. Jori also brings international racing experience and a deep understanding of athlete development, race strategy, and technique at all levels. He is an alumni of Bay State Speedskating, and skated with the club for 10 years as a youth.
